The Doe’s Secret Code of Honor

If you’ve been involved in breeding goats, I’m sure you, like all the rest of us, have wondered: “When will that doe kid?” Now you can learn some of the esoteric goat-secrets involved in kidding. This video sheds light on the little-known Code of Honor that governs the “when” of goat kidding.

Maybe this helps explain any rambling thoughts I’ve posted lately. Fortunately you can’t see me, but I have to admit, I’m almost to the babbling stage mentioned in the video. My eyes ARE certainly bloodshot, and I don’t think I’ve actually fully combed my hair in two days. But who’s counting? It has had goaties weaving hay into it though. Betcha not everyone has THAT kind of ‘do!

This video is one I just HAD to share with my readers. A friend sent it to me today, after she looked at pictures of Sassy Girl and we discussed if and when she might kid. It made me laugh so much, I immediately wrote the owner of the video and asked permission to repost it. TheGoatMentor was very kind in granting permission to share it with y’all here. (By the way, she has some great videos on goat topics, check out her channel!)
