A Homestead Heart

I’m a teacher, a freelance writer, a sometime blogger, but at the heart of my life is my homestead. Here I can putter around in my garden, craft vintage items into new heirlooms, and laugh the day away at the antics of all the animals.

My homestead is my refuge, provides food for the table, is a place of comfort, and provides sanity in a crazy world. It was only natural then that I develop this site in order to share what works for me, and have a heart-to-heart with like-minded folks about topics ranging from making goat cheese to pesticide-free gardening and topics of organic agriculture in general.

As of February 13th, 2012 I am just getting started here (having migrated from my free blog Organic Homestead), so you may notice the walls are still bare and I haven’t unpacked yet, but I love to write and homesteading is my passion, so I’m sure it will become comfy and cozy here in a hurry.

So come on in, pour yourself a cup of coffee or a nice glass of iced tea, put your feet up, and set a spell. We’ll have a nice chat. I look forward to our growth here!

    Hi,

How are you? I am Philip. I am looking for guest blogging opportunity on home improvement related blogs and found your blog accepts guest posts. I would like to submit content based on house cleaning. I assure you the content adds value to your blog.

I kindly request you to let me know whether the guest post submissions were in open. If so, please suggest me either one of the below topics and it would be a great help for me to write,

    1) how to get a healthy home without dust and rust?
    2) Simple tips to keep your home clean

I am looking for your favorable reply,

    Thanks,
    Philip

      Hello Phillip,

You should receive an email from me about this. My apologies it has taken a little while to get back to you. I was offline several days with the Thanksgiving holiday and I’m trying to sort comments from spam – the volume has increased a LOT in the past two weeks.
